Cooler in Pooler.

Do you ever laugh at yourself? Take a second, observe yourself as if you were a completely objective third party.... and laugh. You know what I'm talking about, when life overwhelms you and you really don't know what to do. So you take a look at yourself and realize how ridiculous you look. I was doing that just a second ago. I'm now in pooler at my dad's house.

scene: me sitting on my bed. 5 snowmen staring me down.. because my room has become the
catch-all room. Walls with hooks on them but no pictures because I had to clean out my room before I left freshman year of college. & no joke 10-15 stuffed animals taking up 3/4 of the bed.

the part where I laugh: today has been one of those really crummy days. mom's mad at me. Dad's mad at me. a day full of packing. It's just been lousy. So i'm tired of it. I know it's been the enemy trying to discourage me my last day home. I'm just tired of him always lurking in the bushes in my family. back to the part where I laugh. So, determined to not go to sleep tonight defeated...I retreat to my hoodie. say a good JESUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. lean my head back & realize I have an entire bottle of diet dr. pepper in my bag. There I sit. 2 liter of diet dr. pepper. blank paper and pencil ready to draw. all the while snowmen staring at me. How can you not laugh at yourself?

So I peaced Richmond Hill today. Onward to Pooler. Then kwaheri, Pooler & JAMBO, Athens!! After this week being home. I'm drained but rested. I'm stressed but unwinding. I'm ready to cry but also to laugh. Have I mentioned how much I'm looking forward to Athens? There's been so much opposition blossoming everywhere in my life right now...I think that means it's time to buckle up for a whirlwind this year.

Stay tuned... this summer blog Has become a year blog. Thank You for reading. you elusive nameless readers.. who fear the comment box. yeah i'm talking to you.

I love your new background for your blog....it fits your personality very well! :) And yes, I too often laugh at myself and the situations I constantly find myself in. :)
